Obituary for Robert John Thomas "Jack" Watson

Robert John Thomas Watson (Jack), 92, of Fergus Ontario, passed unexpectedly at home on August 19th, 2020.
Loving husband of Jane (nee Bell), and father of Lynda (Phil), Predeceased by his son Gary (Jane Pan).
Son of Robert John and Annie Watson (nee McGuineess). The oldest of nine children, Jack will be missed by
Joan , Ron , Stan, Betty, and Carol. Predeceased by Les, Rose and Brian. He will be missed by his grandchildren, Damion, Camille and Elizabeth and great granddaughter Audrey.

Jack will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Jack was a man of many talents, and passions. Most notably his love of flight and flying. He pursued and enjoyed many hobbies including photography, artistry, singing, building both models and structures, and collecting. He melded his love of fine art and aviation into a career he loved. Jack was highly involved with the Anglican Church in the Toronto Diocese and was an active member of St James in Fergus for the last 23 years. He volunteered for many causes over his lifetime. He served as a board member for many years at Camp Artaban in Bolton, later Camp Couchciching in Orillia. Visitation will take place at St James Church in Fergus on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 from 10:00 am to noon. A private family funeral will then take place. www.grahamgiddyfh.com
