Of Elora, husband of Hazel(nee:Giesel) for 65 years. Passed away at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus in his 93rd year with his loved ones by his side. He served in the Royal Canadian Army 100th Battery, 4th Division, 12th Field for 5 years and was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion for 55 years. Loving father to Bob (Kim) of Cambridge, Brian of Elora, Bruce (Caroline) of Elora, Murray (Cheryl) of Guelph, Ken (Lynn) of Kitchener and Paul(2015) and Cinda of B.C.. Grandpa to Arly (Shawn) Frame, Lindsey (Jamie) Brown of Guelph, Adrian (Rebecka) Johnston of Cambridge, Justin (Brittany) Johnston of New Hamburg, Amanda (Jeremy) Jayaweera of Kitchener, Caleb Johnston of Elora, Jared (Paloma) Johnston of Elora, Kyle (Melissa) Johnston of Fergus, Nathan Johnston of Fergus, Kevin Deforest of Guelph, Nicole (Scott) Toman of Kitchener, Krystal(Mark) Vagg of Fergus, Jessica(Jeremiah) Livingston of Arthur and great grandchildren Nevaeh, Rylan, Jordan, Callum, Bryden, Malcolm, Mackenna, Connor, Lily, Jason, Violet, Penny, Emma, Aiden, Dorion, Bennett, Emrey, Miah, Benson, Alexis, and predeceased by baby Faith Livingston. Visitation will be held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church Street East, Elora, on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 11am-1pm followed by the memorial service being held in the funeral home chapel at 1pm that same day.
