Robert Allan Johnson passed away at the age of 66 in Fergus, on July 22, 2019. He passed peacefully with family by his side. Beloved husband of 37 years, of Kathy and cherished father of Brad (wife Karolina), Kyle (wife Kristina) and Brittany. Loving Grandpa of Jack and Evie. A University of Toronto graduate, Bob was a dedicated teacher for many years at JD Hogarth PS and did supply work in Centre Wellington as a retired teacher. He will be remembered for his sense of humour, his artistic abilities and his love of family. To honour Bob’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of His Life will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus. Please drop in between 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm to share stories of Bob. Words of Remembrance by family will take place at 5:00 pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Groves Hospital, Centre Wellington Food Bank or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

I knew Bob through our early morning work outs at the Sportsplex. There is no doubt the sessions now are much less livelier without him. We have and will continue to miss Bob and can only offer our sincere condolences in his passing.

Mr.Johnson was one of my favourite teachers at JD Hogarth. He will be defently missed. So sorry for your loss Mrs.Johnson, Brad, Kyle and Brittany. He was an amazing person and an awesome teacher! My thoughts and prayers are with you

Hello, Kathy, Brad, Kyle, Brittany and your respective families. Several years have passed since cousin Bob brought his family to Edmonton and visited with us. It was so good to have made that connection. We are so sorry for your great loss. Please accept our condolences and prayers during this difficult time.
