Obituary for Richard Brown

BROWN RICHARD,Passed away peacefully at the Palmerston Hospital Wed, Jan 4 at 11:20 A.M. in his 75 year. He will be remembered lovingly by his devoted wife Joan Heath of 56 years. His sons Mike and Jim and his daughters Jenny, Susan and Katie and 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Richard is pre-deceased by his daughter Karen Elizabeth. Richard was a farmer, trucker for Townsends Transport, writer and antique tractor collector. Richard raised his family in Galt, Fergus and surrounding areas. We will always cherish his boundless generousity and endearing sense of humour, his passionate love for life…and his antique tractors. The family will receive their friends at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Saturday, January 7th, 2006 from 6-9pm and Sunday, January 8th, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Funeral service will be held at the Central Pentecostal Church 7674 Colborne Street between Fergus and Elora on Monday Jan 9th at 2:00 P.M. Pastor Doug Bott officiating at the service.
