The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Rhett Butler can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Rhett Bradley  Butler
Passed away at his home on Sunday October 29th at the age of 47 years. He leaves behind his loving wife Cheryl and their 2 sons Curtis and Scott. Rhett also leaves behind his parents Edward and Lynne Butler, brother Tyler(Beth) Butler and his in-law’s Andrew(Pauline) Lewington as well as his dog Ozzy. Rhett had many things to be proud of in his life, such as, he was a 2 time Guinness Book of World Records caber toss champion, graduate of Kingston Military College, graduate of The School of Aerospace Engineering and he really enjoyed farming and coaching minor hockey. As per his wishes, there will not be a formal funeral service but instead there will be a celebration of life gathering that will be held at The Alma Community Centre on Saturday November 11th at 1pm.
