Suddenly following a lengthy illness on Monday January 24, 2005, at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus. Alex Aitken in his 75th year of Fergus. Beloved husband of Lynn Aitken (nee Dick). Loving father of Susan Aitken of Whitby, Linda Curtis and her fiancée Delio Gomes of Fergus and Heather Aitken and her Husband Alex Albl of Fergus. Loving grandfather of Dan Curtis and Alicia Albl. Dear brother of Mac and his wife Gladys Aitken of Fergus. And brother in law of Helen, Barbara, Elaine. Alex is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews and also his three little brothers through the big brothers association Brian, Jason and Colin. Pre-deceased by brothers Doug, Lloyd and sisters Isabel, Margaret and Jean. The family will receive their friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 280 ST. DAVID ST. S. FERGUS. From 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Tuesday January 25, 2005. Complete service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday January 26, 2005 at 2;00 P.M. Followed by cremation.
