Seergobin, Rabindranuth ( “Robin” )
After a long battle with cancer it is with great sadness that we mark the passing of our father, grandfather, and loving husband Robin Seergobin, age 79, on October 30, 2019. He died peacefully at home with family. He is survived by wife of 57 years Evelyn Seergobin (née Sakal Das). Dear father to Clarissa (Dale), Ken, and Steve (Lisa, Emma) and loving granddad/papa to Ashley (“Honey”), Christine (“Baby”), and Theo (“Little Baby”). He will be missed by Neptune, a most loyal pet and family member for 12 years. He is survived by sisters Sattio & Vado and brothers Karma, Jetty, Dharma, and Rajin, brothers-in-law Coar “Freddie” Singh and Jeffrey “Jerry” Singh, numerous nieces and nephews, while sadly predeceased by sister Guiatree and parents. Having left a great void in our family he will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends and family for visitation on Monday November 4, 2019 between 6-9PM at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home Waterloo Chapel at 617 King St. N. Waterloo (across from Home Depot). Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday November 5, 2019 in the chapel at 11:00AM. Cremation will follow at Parkview Crematorium in Waterloo concluding in a reception at the funeral home. Donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation would be most appreciated.
