Passed away peacefully on June 12th, 2014 at Groves Hospital after a brief illness. Beloved husband of Donna(57 years), loving father of Brad(Elaine) of Fergus, Jeff(Sonia) of Guelph, Paula(Dave) of Fergus, father-in-law to Shelly(Perry) Trenton, devoted grandfather of Derek, Brady, Maddison and Landon. Dear brother of Robert(Grace), Peter(Carol), Laurie and brother-in-law of Bev(Gary). Predeceased by his parents Mario Landoni Jr. and Laura Dickinson, his sister Betty, and brothers Ron and Gary and his son Perry. Paul worked alongside his father Mario Jr. and grandfather Mario Sr. at Landoni’s Brothers Construction and then formed his own construction company in 1988. He was an avid hockey and lacrosse player and coached many lacrosse teams including a Canadian Junior Championship lacrosse team. He was a proud and dedicated member of the Fergus Brass Band for 65 years. Family and friends will be received at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus, Sunday June 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 and Monday June 16th from 9:30-10:30am. Mass of Christian burial at 11:00am at St. Joseph’s Church, Fergus, followed by interment at St. Mary-St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Elora. Prayers will be held at 6:45 Sunday night at the funeral home.
