Peacefully on Monday, June 30, 2003 at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus, surrounded by loving family and friends, in his 63rd year. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Shannon) and adored father of Laura, Geoff and Fraser. Dear brother of Bill (Audrey), of Belwood, Richard (Adele), of Oakville, and Carol Roberts (Mel), of Brandon, Manitoba. He will also be missed by Norah and Dennis Buckley of Trenton, Hillis and Ron Jones and his mother in law Eileen Shannon, of Charlottetown, PEI. Son of the late G. Lloyd Goulding and Amy McConnell of Arthur, Ont. He is fondly remembered and greatly missed by his loving nieces and nephews and has been an inspiration to all of us for his zest for life and great strength and determination in the face of the many hurdles he worked to overcome in his fight with Parkinson's Disease over the past number of years. Paul was tireless in his efforts to raise funds for Parkinson's research and truly believed there would be a cure in his lifetime. Paul graduated from Ryerson University and worked for Don Mills Developments and Del Realty prior to embarking on his founding of Cross Canada Fine Food Gifts in 1983. He was forced to retire in 1997 due to ill health. The family will receive friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 37 CHURCH STREET, ELORA. From 7-9 P.M. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Thursday. Funeral service will be held at the Elora United Church in Elora on Friday July 4, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev Bill Sparling officiating at the service. Followed by interment at the Elora Cemetery in Elora. Remembrances to the Groves Memorial Community Hospital or the Parkinson's Society would be appreciated.
