Peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday July 2, 2019 at Innisfree House in Kitchener at the age of 59 years. Loving husband of Donna Marie Hertel (nee) McLean. Dear son of Joyce Hertel and her partner Wayne Neal of Point Clarke. Loving stepfather of Jarod Morgan ( Megan Rose ) of Kitchener and Sarah Morgan ( Simon James ) of Port McNicoll. He will be remembered by his stepsister Jackie Neal ( Karen Marquis) of Galt and stepbrother Scott Neal of Hamilton. Patrick will also be missed by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. He will also be missed by his canine friends Max, Molly & Phoenix. Predeceased by his father Robert Hertel. Patrick was a member and a Past President of the Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans Club in Kitchener Branch 247. At Patrick’s request cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will take place on Saturday July 20, 2019 at the Army, Navy & Air Force Veterans Club 408 Gage Ave, Kitchener at 1 p.m. Donations to Innisfree House or the Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans Club would be appreciated.
