Obituary for Patricia Anne Johnston (Akers)

(a.k.a Pat Bray, or a.ka. Pat Greensides) Passed away on Monday September 22, 2003 at her home due to complications from long term Diabetes. Pat was born and raised in Long Branch. She was also a resident of Port Credit, Dundee Florida, and long time resident of Belwood before settling in Fergus. Pat was a homemaker and loving mother. Survived by her daughter Faith and son-in-law Ralph Towriss of Mount Forest and her son Bruce Greensides of Belwood. Pat is survived by her grandchildren, Rachel Towriss of Guelph, Kyle Towriss of Brantford, and Lacey Towriss of Collingwood. Mom also leaves behind brothers Jim Akers of Georgetown and Fred Akers of Midland, in addition to several nieces. Mom had a zest for life and keen interest in other people. She was a gentle soul and she will be greatly missed and always loved. She left us too soon. A Memorial Service will be held at Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home And Chapel 280 St. David St. S. Fergus, on Saturday September 27, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service time. Cremation has taken place, interment will be held at a later date.
