It is with great sadness that the family of Norah Ellen Ashton announces her passing peacefully in her sleep at Caressant Care Arthur, on Friday, November 9, 2012, at the age of 75 years.
Norah will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 52 years, Morley and his children, Kevin and Donna, Craig and Guy, and Kristi and Al. Norah will also be fondly remembered by her two grandchildren, Katelyn and Jordan, by her brother and sister-in-law, Don and Sharon Foster and their family. She was predeceased by her mother and father Gertrude Ball and Harry Foster.
Norah was the first female president of the Fergus Legion, Branch 275 and loved spending time there with her friends and family throughout the years.
The family would like to thank the staff at Caressant Care Arthur for all of their caring and support.
Visitation from 11:00 AM, Legion service at 12:30 PM and a funeral service at 1:00 PM in memory of Norah will be held at Graham Giddy Funeral Home on 280 St. David Street South in Fergus, Ontario on Wednesday, November 14th, 2012. Interment will follow at the family plot at the Belsyde Cemetery.
