Passed away on January 6th at the Hospice Wellington at the age of 89. Neil will be sadly missed by his wife Jessie and by his children Bernard (Anne) of Elora, Anita Miller, Edwin (Jay) of Kitchener, Sheila (Mike) Noonan of Guelph, Larry (Patsy) of Arthur, Anne of London and step son Brian (Carolyn) Larkin of Collingwood. He leaves behind his grandchildren Carolyn, Stephanie, Jeff, Courtney, David, Shaun, Brian, Paul, Paul, Scot, Judy, Krystal, Steven, Amanda, Mike, Jaime, Kari and Kelly. Neil also had 9 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his first wife Frances (1979) brothers Joe, Dan, Guy, Frank and sister Mary Kennedy. He was a WWII veteran and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br.226 in Arthur. Visitation for Neil will be held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church Street East, Elora from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Tuesday January 8th with a vigil service being held at 8:45pm that same night. The funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s Church, Elora on Wednesday January 9th at 11:30 am.
