Passed away at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus, on February 8th, 2010 in her 81st year, succumbing after a courageous battle with ALS. She leaves James her partner and best friend of 35 years. Myrna will be lovingly remembered by her son Scott ( Russell ) Macdonald of Greely, daughter Myrna-Gene (Jim) Newitt of Belleville, stepdaughter Janet (Jamie) Yule of Dobbinton, stepson Jeffery of Vancouver B.C. daughter in-law Betty Macdonald of Fergus. Predeceased by son Philip Macdonald (1994). Fondly remembered by grandchildren Paul (Jennifer) Macdonald of Winter Haven Florida, Kelly Macdonald of Toronto, Craig (Kelly) Macdonald of Rochester NY, Melissa Newitt of Montreal, Chris Newitt of Belleville, Robert, John, Lloyd and Alissa Yule of Dobbinton, also great grandmother to Philip Macdonald of Winter Haven Florida. Myrna is survived by three brothers and one sister and is predeceased by one brother. She will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place, as requested by Myrna there will be no visitation or service.
