Kathleen crossed over in the morning hours of September 8, 2004. Recently enjoying her 80th birthday, she continued to express her determination for this life with courage and understanding. In the end, she went willingly and eagerly. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 51 years, Jack MacPherson of Maple Leaf Acres near Belwood. Kaye is the beloved mother of Tom MacPherson and his wife Joan, Arleen Rogers and her husband Tom, Martin Randall MacPherson and his friend Sue Brubacher, Karen MacPherson Clark and her husband Larry, and Kerrigan MacPherson. She was a loving Grannie to Gabreil, Twylia, Evan, Patti, Russell, Kelly, Kristy, Bryce, Richard, Brent, Alicia (Leelee). Kathleen is survived by her brother Wilfred Chislett of Winnipeg and sister Dorothy Warner of Ottawa. She is predeceased by her granddaughter Kristy. She loved so many, those like family include Renie Louter, Ambeka Stark, Rodney Thompson and we mustn't forget her cat Lovey. Many will remember Kaye from when she was Assistant Clerk of West Garafraxa Township and Secretary of the Committee of Adjustments. A celebration of life will be held upstairs in the Wellington Room of The Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home 280 St. David St. S. Fergus on Saturday, September 11, 2004 from 2-4pm, followed by a service of remembrance at 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate letters of remembrance of time spent with Kaye or donations to the Humane Society - Cat Fund. Cards are available at the funeral home 846-5352
