Obituary for Michel Joseph Bertrand Jeanson

Michel Joseph Bertrand Jeanson (September 20, 1953 – November 26, 2017)
It is with broken hearts that we say goodbye to Michel, husband and life love of Carol Anne. Born in Windsor Mills, Quebec, son of Claire and Gerald, Michel lived a life like no other. He was a man of passions: guitar, fishing and Portage. He touched souls and transformed lives with his therapeutic skills, music and personality. He was a man of loyalty, honesty and family, who cared about everyone and everything. Especially travel and Les Canadiens. Michel could light up a room. And he could ignite or put out a fire. Michel loved and inspired love in so many. He was brother to Jacques and Diane, son to George, uncle to Anne Marie, David, Jenny, Lisa, Jay, Geoff, Christa, brother-in-law to Guy, Irine, Greg, Deirdre, and ”brother” to Sylvain, Kim, Steve and George. Much loved friend to his Portage and music “families” in Quebec, Elora and scattered around the world. He will be impossible to replace. A celebration of Michel’s amazing life is planned for the near future. Check Graham Giddy Funeral Home Elora website, or contact Carol Anne for details.
In lieu of flowers, challenge yourself to step up and do something meaningful for someone else in Michel’s memory – give your time, support or money to someone or some group that really needs it on a one-to-one level. Your one act for Michel will continue to make our world a better place
A Celebration of Michel’s Life will take place on the afternoon of Saturday, December 16, 2017, at the Elora Centre for the Arts, 75 Melville Street, Elora. Service for Michel will be held at 1:30 p.m. Followed by remembrance, music (of course) and reception.
