Passed away peacefully on Friday, February 8, 2008 at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, at the age of 81, surrounded by his loving wife and children. Merrill was loved by Isabel, devoted wife of sixty-one years. Lovingly remembered by his son Ralph (Lesley), daughter Edith Hons (Dennis), son Grant, daughter Jane Blair (Nelson). Fondly remembered by his nine grandchildren Adam (Deanna), Ryan (Amy), Erik (Sarah), Ian (Kristy), Allan (Keri), Jordan, Tyler, Justine and Meghan and three great grandchildren Emily, James and Isabel. Family will receive friends at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Sunday, February 10th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 11th at 1:00pm. Cremation to follow.
