Following a brief illness on Sunday May 8th 2005 at the Wellington Terrace in Elora. Mel England of Fergus in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Isabelle MacLaughlin (1974). Loving father of Anne and her husband John Tregunna of Mount Forest, Jim of Fergus, Carol and her husband Brian Weadick of Elora , Gord and his wife Lu of R. R. 1 Ariss. Wayne and his wife Joanne of Fergus, Lorna and her husband Ed Gooyers of Goderich, Marilyn and her husband Mark Kirk of Erin. Mel is also survived by his 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Pre-deceased by his son Ross England (1981) daughter in law Jane England (2003) and brother Ross England (1975). The family will receive their friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL 280 ST. DAVID ST. S. FERGUS. From 7-9 P.M. Tuesday, funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wed May 11, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. Followed by interment at the Belsyde Cemetery Fergus. Rev Kees Vandermey officiating at the service.
