The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of May Hiscock can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

passed away peacefully at Caressant Care, Arthur on March 25, 2017. Born March 24, 1933 in Nfld. to Albert and Naomi (Ash) Hiscock. Loving mother of Brenda (Don) Huber of Belwood. Dear sister to Iva (Alex) Tippett of Nfld.. Step Grandmother to Laurel (Andrew) Cooper, Devon (Taylor) Huber, Alexis Huber and Joel (Lisa) Huber. Special Aunt to Marina (Harry) Lacey of Arizona, Deloras (Ken) Hardiman, Garfield (Karen) Tippett, and Calvin Tippett of Nfld.. Great Aunt to Doneka (Patrick) Casey of Grimsby, Perry (Kelly) Lacey of NB, Ken Hardiman, Kyle (Brianna) Hardiman, and Lacey Tippett of Nfld.. Great-great Aunt to Zachary of Ontario, Morgan and Mackenzie of NB. Cousin to Major Gloria (Dave) Sparks of Nfld. Foster mother to Tanaka Mhondiwa of Zimbabwe.
May was employed by Canada Post before moving to Ontario in 1968. She held several clerical positions in Toronto, but was most proud of her success as an Avon representative.
Following retirement, she enjoyed travelling to visit family in Arizona, Texas and New Hampshire. She also loved country music and was able to make several trips to Nashville.
Family and friends may visit at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 11:30am to 1:00pm. A Memorial Service will be held the same day at 1:00pm in the chapel of the funeral home.
Special thanks to Dr. Brault and the wonderful staff of Caressant Care, Arthur. In memory of May, donations may be made to ERDO Child Care, as her foster child, Tanaka, held a special place in her heart. Arrangements entrusted to the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus.
