Suddenly, in his 97th year, at his family home in Breslau, on Saturday March 30, 2019, with his family by his side. Matt Grabe loving husband of the late Lois Grabe (nee Tubman) 2017. Loving father of Glenn and his wife Theresa of Breslau, Brent and his wife Bev of Kitchener and Bruce and his wife Louise of Brampton. Loving and devoted grandfather of David of Kitchener, Derek and his partner Jackie of London, Liz and her partner Kyle of Brantford, Craig and his wife Bree of Waterloo, Matt is loved by his great grandchildren Arianna, Benjamin, Emily, Ian, Mason, Cole, Charly and Xaia. He is also survived by sister in law Joyce Wilson of Kingston. Matt worked at the National Film Board of Canada in Montreal, Quebec. Matt was passionate about photography. The family will receive their friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME, 617 KING ST., N., WATERLOO (across from the Home Depot), on Thursday April 11 from 7-9 P.M. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. a complete funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday April 13, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev David Watson officiating.
