TAYLOR (nee Voges), Mathilda “Tilly”
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Groves Memorial Hospital at the age of 96. Mother of Andy Taylor (Maifa Filion) and mother-in-law of J. Paul Haynes. Proud grandmother of Patrick Haynes and Jack Taylor. Predeceased by her husband Thomas Taylor, daughter Jane Taylor and grandson Matthew Haynes. Loved and remembered by her sister Ria and many nieces, nephews and family in The Netherlands and England.
Tilly was a devoted member of St Joseph’s Parish, took pleasure in listening to classical music and loved spending time with her grandchildren. We are grateful for the care shown by the staff of Highland Manor Retirement Lodge and a special thank you to Tilly’s long time and caring friend, Heather Leybourne.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 9:30 am to 10:45 am at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David. St. South, Fergus, followed by Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 760 St. David St. North, Fergus at 11:00 am.
