Marjorie “Joyce” Biggart (nee Halliday) of Fergus, Ontario passed away on August 17th 2013. She was 72 years of age.
Joyce was born January 4th, 1941 in Toronto, Ontario and was Clifford “Cliff” Biggart’s wife for 54 years. She was predeceased by her parents Robert Young Halliday (1963) and Marjorie Joyce Wellman (1956) as well as her brother George Halliday. She is survived by her sisters Susan, Lynda, Margaret, Judy and Janice Halliday and brothers Robert Jr. and John Halliday.
Joyce was the mother of Cheryl Lynn (Biggart) & her husband Mark Steffler of Seaforth, Ontario and Clifford Biggart Jr of Fredericton, New Brunswick.
She was the proud grandmother of Adam Steffler, Zurich, Ontario and Matthew Steffler, Cambridge, Ontario.
Joyce was an RNA and a long term employee of Caressant Care nursing home in Fergus, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers donations in Joyce’s memory may be made to the palliative care unit at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus, Ontario or the charity of your choice. Visitation will be held at the Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus on Thursday, August 22nd from 12:00 -2:00 pm.
