Peacefully passed away at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton, on September 5th 2005, after celebrating her 77th birthday with family and friends. Predeceased by her husband Wallace Ward (1982). Mother to Wally Ward (Nancy). Loving mother and grandmother to Shirley Jamieson and Laurie Van Fleet, who all shared a home in Hamilton living in harmony and peace with each other. Loving grandmother to Cathy Pritchard (Carl). Great-grandmother to James and John Foster, Thomas Pritchard and Toni Lynn Fraser. Great-great-grandmother to Justin. Mother believed in living life to the fullest and set a fine example, “ Work hard and play hard – we are all here for a short time, so enjoy”. Marion served as Justice of the Peace in Fergus and surrounding areas for 19 years and had many fond memories of her working days. The family would like to thank everyone who supported us through this difficult time, Dr. T. Packer CCAC, staff St. Peters on C3 and all of her friends who have been there for us with kind words of comfort, bless you all. The family will receive friends at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel, 280 St. David Street South in Fergus, on Thursday, September 8th 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial Service to be conducted in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, September 9th at 2:00pm. Cremation has taken place.
