Passed away peacefully on October 10 2016 at the Meaford Long Term Care Centre in her 103rd year. Beloved wife of the late Archie McLean. Dear mother of Jean and Robert Minshall of Burlington, Stanley and Hazel McLean of Owen Sound and Raymond and Jeanette McLean of Saskatoon. Marion was a loving grandmother to Marilyn, Robert, Paul, Robert, Lori, Corey and Scott and proud great grandmother to 9. She was predeceased by her siblings Ken, Jack, Bill, Bernice and Grace.
Marion was a member of Melville United Church since 1935 as well as a member of their UCW. She was active in the community with volunteering and sponsorship of the Fergus Flyers in the 1950’s and 60’s.
Relatives and friends may visit at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus on Thursday October 20 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00 am. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:00 am on the same day. Interment at Belsyde Cemetery.
