Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Marie Snider can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Marie Eileen Snider

SNIDER, MARIE EILEEN; Passed away peacefully at the Grand River Hospital on Tues July 3, 2018, at the age of 84. Born in Woolwich Township. Marie is the loving sister of Ruby (Elroy) Wideman and sister in law of Lorene Snider. Special aunt to Susan (Quintin) Schwartzentruber, Jeff (Karen) Snider, Kathy (Jamie) Neeb and Sherilyn (Lyndon) Bray. Dearly loved by her great nieces and nephews Tyler, Melanie, Todd, Vanessa, Jordan, Justin, Mikaela, Jacob and Luke. Pre-deceased by her parents Leonard and Violet (Weber) Snider, brother Edward (Eddie) Snider and infant brothers Elmer and Clifford. Marie spent years as a nurse at St. Mary's Hospital. She was a faithful member of St. Jacobs Mennonite Church. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive their friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 617 KING ST N. WATERLOO. (across from Home Depot) on Saturday, July 7, 2018, from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. followed by the service in their chapel at 11:00 A.M. Refreshments to follow. Private family interment.
