Passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home in Arthur with her family by her side, on May 26, 2008. Predeceased by her husband Jim Wilson (1966), daughter Shirley Caldwell (1992), brothers Ed and Bill Smith and sister Rita Stickney. Survived by her sons Robert (Joan) of Belwood, Joe (Sue) of Orangeville and son in law Alvin Caldwell of Fergus. She was the beloved Grandma of Jayne Thompson (Jason), Peter Caldwell (Rory), Warren Caldwell (Sylvia), Neil Wilson (Christy), Jackie Major (Frank), Katrina Lawson (Dave), Aimee Wilson (Scott Cowan), Chad and Jocelyn Wilson. She was the Great Grandma of Ethan and Gregor Lawson, Sydnee, Isaac and Nairn Major, Max Caldwell and Emma and Malcolm Wilson. She is survived by her sister Shirley Munro White of Lambeth, sisters in law Jean Hutchinson and Doris Smith. Visitation will be held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. south in Fergus, on Wednesday, May 28th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. John’s United Church in Belwood, on Thursday, May 29th at 11:00am. Cremation to follow.
