Obituary for Margaret Anne "Marg" Shaw (Turton)
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Margaret Anne Shaw, 71, at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus, with her family by her side on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.
She will be sorely missed by her beloved husband of 51 years, Bruce Shaw. Loving mother of Tanya (Jason) Graham and Murray (Heather) Shaw. The most proud grandma of James, Paisley & Charley Graham, and Sutton, Anderson & Emmett Shaw. Marg will also be missed by many adored family members and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderfully caring and compassionate staff at Groves Memorial Hospital, as well as at Trailside Medical Centre, especially Dr. Norrie.
Visitation will be held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home in Fergus on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Service to take place at Bethel Baptist Church, 675 Victoria Terrace, Fergus on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 11 AM. Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of fellowship and refreshments following the funeral service, in the lower level of the church. Interment is to take place at 2:30 PM at Belsyde Cemetery in Fergus, following the reception.
Donations in memory of Marg may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, and are greatly appreciated by her family.
