Betty's Faith

One morning, years and years ago, while lying in a hospital bed in Peel, I saw a beautiful woman coming into my room.  It was Betty MacLeod.  She came to visit me, through the worst blizzard, because she said that Jesus had told her she had to go see me today.  She brought me a medalion which I still have, that she'd gotten on a pilgrimage, and told me to keep it close to me.  She brought me little gifts and told me that I was going to be all right.  Nobody believed it, least of all me...after she left, I was taken by ambulance to Toronto General and for the first time in weeks, I felt hungry enough to eat something and drink.  When I arrived back in Brampton, everyone was overjoyed by the miracle that was taking place.  Betty brought me that miracle that day.  There is no doubt in my mind that she is in a wonderful place now.  She was a beautiful person and loved by all who knew her.  This is a true story, and to share it is difficult, but Betty deserved to have it told.  God Bless you, Betty.
