Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Margaret Brown can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Margaret “Madge” Brown on April 23, 2017 at Hospice Wellington at the age of 86. Loving wife of 55 years to the late Donald Brown(2015). Loving mother to Donald (Vickie), Cathy Austin (Mark), Robert (Lisa) and Carolyn Funkenhauser. Proud Grandma to Leslie, Steven, Lisa, Kristin(Craig), Owen, Shannon(Francis), Olivia, Sarah and Stephan and great-grandma to Kaylee, Shaelynn and Carter. Dear sister to Thelma Fradley Newton(Milt). Madge will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her grandson Samuel Austin, sister Mary O’Donnell and her parents Samuel and Sarah Rankin. Madge will be remembered forever for her scheduled telephone conversations and chats with many especially her children. She was a devoted mother to her family. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
