SULLIVAN, Margaret “Annie”

Passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Saturday July 11, 2020 in her 97th year.
Predeceased by her husbands, John Sullivan (2010) and David Davidson (1952). Predeceased by her parents, Edward and Lillian Miller, brother Colin and his wife Audrey Miller, her sister Mary McDougall (Peter) and brother James Miller. Mother of Joan Tanner (Paul- deceased 2019), Bev Parker (Carl) and Bill Davidson (Joanne). Fondly remembered by 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Annie lived most of her life in the Alma Community and was an avid member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church until she moved to Heritage River Retirement Home in Elora in 2015.

Favourite pastimes were cooking/baking, playing Euchre, Bingo and Scrabble. Her favourite trips were to Arizona in the winter with her husband, her sister and brother-in-law. She was a very social person and she made many friends over the years. No one will forget her smile.

I have very fond memories of Annie from the time I spent in elementary school in Alma. Her ingenuity, kindness and welcoming spirit always made everyone feel at home. One memory is her letting us choose our Halloween costumes from the big chest in the bathroom and not complaining about the mess we created. She always set an extra place at the table if you were there near mealtime. She showed a joy for life. I can still hear her chuckle. A lovely lady and a life well lived. She will be missed.

Very sorry to hear about Annie. I did stop and say hi to her whenever I visited my mother at the Heritage. My condolences to Joan, Bev, and Bill. She was a very kind and considerate person who always seemed so pleased with life in general. We met more than 50 years ago and I will remember her fondly. Best Regards Bob (alias Danny)
