Passed away peacefully June 18, 2008 in Waterloo, Ontario, at age 88 after several months of failing health. Survived by her beloved husband C.R.E. (Bob) Allen, daughter Robin Vaisey of Bancroft, Ontario, son Douglas Vaisey of Toronto, three grand children and five great grandchilren all in the Bancroft area. Widowed in her thirties on the death of her first husband, Stuart Vaisey, with two teen age children, she went to work for the then fledgling Toronto office of Manpower Temporary Services, retiring as vice president. One of her proudest achivements was development of a “Brush-up Course” for office workers who had been out of the work force for some years. Over 4000 people graduated from this course. She was active in many personnel related organizations. Cremation has taken place to be followed by a private family celebration of her life.
