Passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus on Thursday, December 23, 2004 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of Lloyd Reid. Dear sister of Bill Elgie of Marsville. Dear aunt of Janet Elgie. Fondly remembered by her great nieces Charlene Brown and her friend Rick Weber and Lisa Weisher (nee Brown) and her husband Michael. Mabel will be missed by her cherished great great nieces Brooke and Dakota. Predeceased by her sister-in-law Marion Elgie. Friends will be received at Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel, 280 St. David St. S, Fergus on Monday, December 27th 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Belsyde Cemetery Fergus. If desired donations may be made to the Groves Memorial Community Hospital or Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation.
