Obituary for Louie Thomas "Lou" Ristov
Louie Thomas Ristov, at 25 years of age passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on June 26, 2023. Our memories of Louie we will carry in our hearts the rest of our days by parents Tom and Joanne, brothers Owen and Jake(Ristov), precious grandson to Opa John & Oma Tini(Hoogamp) and Baba Nada(Ljube)(Ristova) Nephew to Mike(Hoogamp), Aunt Mary & Uncle Angelo(Tallidis), Aunt Helen(Kiatipis) and cousins Yianni, Matthew Arianna & Andrea.
Louie lived his life in "BIG LOU" style. He was an outdoorsman, intellectual, athlete and inquisitive individual. His yearning for knowledge was an integral part of his personality. Louie's charisma and beautiful blue eyes caught your attention and after that; he immersed you on a journey of discovery; always delivering challenges to theories, busting myths, or sharing his love of movies, music and history. While studying at Western University, strong bonds of friendship were fostered with love, shared beliefs and experiences. All of which were a major contributor towards Louie becoming the young man we admired and loved. We admired Louie for being unapologetically himself.
Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who lovewith heart and soul there is no such thing as separation.
The family will be holding a private invite only celebration of life.
