Obituary for Linda Davidson
Linda Mindle Davidson (Nanny), a lifelong helper and resident of Fergus, Ontario died unexpectedly at the age of 62. She was doing one of the things she loved most in the world, taking care of her husband making sure he got to work safely.
Linda was born on July 27th, 1960. She is the late daughter of Neil McLaughlin and Anne Nelson, and was raised by the most beautiful step mother Edith McLaughlin.
Linda had 4 siblings, Johnny, Margaret, Neil and Stephen.
Linda was a loving mother of 2 daughters, Kelly and Darlene. She was also a stepmother, by marriage, to Shannon and Rodney. She was a devoted wife to Todd Davidson.
Linda was a proud grandmother to Brianna, Ashley, AJ and Erin. A step grandmother to Shane, Corey, Summer and Jason. Cherished great grandmother (Nanny) and best friend to Kaleen.
Linda was a loving aunt and 2nd mother to her 3 nephews, Jason, Colin and Randy.
Linda was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, nanny, aunty, and the best friend you could ever ask for.
Linda spent her days and life helping and taking care of others. She loved tooting around Fergus with her partner in crime, best friend and sister Margaret, going into what ever store had the deals that day. In hopes she would find something special for someone else- that’s who Linda was, always thinking about everyone else.
Linda will be greatly missed by her husband, daughters, siblings, grandchildren great grandchildren, nephews, family and many friends who have become family over the years.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church, 760 St. David St. North, Fergus at 1:00 pm, reception to follow. Memorial donations may be made to The Ronald McDonald House or the Fergus Food Bank. www.grahamgiddyfh.com
