Passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Community Hospital on March 18, 2012 in her 76th year. Predeceased by her husband, Don (2003) and son, Paul (1986). Lovingly remembered by her children, Nancy (Jim) Speers, Sharon (Ken) Boys, Murray (Lisa), Jamie (Vickie) Noble and daughter-in-law, Lori (David) Noble Milne. Cherished and loved Gramma of Andy (Jackie) and Kyle (Erin) Speers, Steve (Elizabeth) Boys, Sara (Jarret) McDougall, Jenna (David), Jessica (Douglas), Katelyn (Ryan), Kristen, Heather, Holly, Brandon (Bailey), Lindsay, Mason and Susan Noble; and a special Gramma Noble to Jared and Caitlin Milne and Sandra Oxtoby. Proud and loving Gramma-Gramma to Elexis, Adaline, Tyler and Asher Speers, Nolan Boys and Jackson Noble, all whom she enjoyed so much and held dearly. Joan was long time member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Fergus, a retiree of Groves Memorial Community Hospital, a Red Hatter, an active participant of the senior’s euchre circuit and she enjoyed all social events at Station Square in Elora, where she resided and made many friends. She will be missed by her special nieces and close friends who visited often during her lengthy hospital stay. A Memorial service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 325 St. George St W, Fergus on Saturday, March 24th, 2012 at 11:00 am. Donations may be directed to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Fergus or Groves Memorial Community Hospital- new hospital building fund. Details entrusted to the Graham A.
