Due to failing health on Wednesday April 13, 2005 at the Wellington Terrace in Elora, Laura Thompson in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Walter John Thompson (1982). Loving mother of Marie and her husband William Polan of R. R. 3 Wiarton and Gerry and his wife Pam of Uxbridge. Loved grandmother of Leanne Polan (England), Michael Polan and Lyndsey Thompson. Laura will be loved and remembered by a number of nieces and nephews and other family. Pre-deceased by her son Walter John and grandson Courtney. The family received their friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL 280 ST. DAVID ST. S. FERGUS from 12 noon until 2:00 P.M. Saturday April 16, 2005. Rev Kees Vandermey officiated at the complete funeral service on the same day (Saturday April 16) at 2:00 P.M. Followed by interment on Monday April 18th at the Alliston Union Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. Remembrances to the Sick Childrens Hospital or Lung Association or Charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
