Went home to be with his Lord and Saviour after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband to Brandie(Saunders) and father to Mackenzie. Loving son of Gerry and Therese Swaving. Brother of Rose(Ralph), Lisa, Marianne(Doug). Amazing uncle of Shae, Cole, Mckenna, Trent, Ren, Gage and Wyatt. Son-in-law of Steve and Wanda Saunders and brother-in-law of Katie Saunders. Grandson of Ida Swaving and Ina(John) Medemblik.
Kris’ faith in God was a testimony to all of us. He was a high school teacher. During his 17 years of teaching he inspired the lives of many. He taught until five weeks ago at Emmanuel Christian High School.
Family and friends may visit on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 3:00 to 5:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm at the Fergus North Canadian Reformed Church, 6534 1st Line, Fergus, Ontario N1M 2W4. A Funeral Service will be held at the church on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11:00am.
