HOWLETT, KELVIN- Passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus on Friday July 7, 2006, in his 88th year. His wife Mary predeceased him in 1993. Beloved father of Edna (Bruce) Mewhiney, George, Sharon (Ken) Austin. Dearest grandfather of Bonnie Boire, Kim and Dwayne Nicklasson, Lisa and Scott Hoegy, Janet and Andrew Patterson, Susan Howlett, and her fiancé Adam McNabb, Ken French, Kathy and Brett MacKenzie, Julie and Mike McColeman. He also leaves behind 16 great grandchildren and a very special friend Ruth Brown. He is survived by brother Clifford and his wife Ethel. Kelvin was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Catherine and two brothers Fred and Arthur. May you rest in peace Dad and you will always be forever in our hearts. Friends may call at the Graham Giddy Funeral Home in Elora, 37 Church St. E. on Sunday, July 9 from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. Service will be held in the chapel at the funeral home on Monday July 10, 2006 at 2p.m. Donations in Kelvin’s memory may be made to the Groves Memorial Community Hospital Building Fund through the funeral home.
