Peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus after a struggle with cancer. Kay has now joined her beloved husband of 57 years, Salvatore (Sam). Kay was a wonderful mother to Marsha, Michelle and Melissa and the best grandma ever to Kelsey and Cameron. Born in Sarnia, one of ten children, Kay met Sam while working at Fiberglass. After having the “3 M’s” and building a house together, Kay took a leap of faith so that Sam could follow his dream of starting his own business. They settled in Alma where they ran the Alma Feed and Chopping Mill for 21 years. The family moved to Fergus in 1976. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. In honour of their parents’ wishes, the girls invite you to join them in a celebration of Sam and Kay’s lives on Wednesday November 2 at the Fergus Legion from 1 to 4 pm, 500 Blair Street, beside the LCBO.
