LODGE, KATHLEEN YVONNE, 88, passed away peacefully in her sleep February 27, 2007 at the Wellington Terrace, Fergus, Ontario. She was a Mount Allison, Sackville N.B. graduate obtaining her Bachelor of Science and also received her Bachelor of Education from Dalhousie University, Halifax N.S. Kay taught school until her marriage to William Victor Lodge in 1942. She is pre-deceased by her husband in 1987. Kay is survived by daughter E. Ann (Lodge) McLaughlin married to Ben McLaughlin, Masstown, N.S., and son Douglas Lodge, married to Susan, Elora, Ontario. Grandmother to Mariann McLaughlin of Leduc Alberta, Brian Lodge of Bowmanville, Ontario, Kimberly McLaughlin of Columbia Gardens B.C., and Ryan, Kyle and Tyler Duffield; two great granddaughters Bailey and Abby Lodge. Born in Springhill N.S., she was the oldest daughter of the late Douglas R. and Le Ella (MacDiarmid) Nelson. Kay is also pre-deceased by her sisters Lavona Fern (Nelson) Jeffs and Marjorie Nelson.
