It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of Judy on Thursday, January 29th, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 64. Beloved and cherished daughter of Catherine (Blondie) and the late Victor Grominsky, mother to Carey (Brad) Hutchinson, sister to Gerry (Peggy) Grominsky and aunt to Mark (Christine Goodine) and Katelyn Grominsky, Kelly Grominsky and Breanna Blanchard. Judy will be deeply missed by her family and friends, as well as her trusty companions Buddy and Huey. Judy had a warm and caring heart. She worked hard her entire life and was always devoted to taking care of others. She was an independent, strong and stoic woman that held her chin and head up high in the face of adversity. Visitation will take place at the The Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church St, Elora on Sunday, February 1st, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mary the Immaculate Roman Catholic Church, 267 Geddes St, Elora on February 2nd, 2015 at 10:30 am.
