Obituary for Joy Noonan

In sadness, we announce our Mother, Joy of Fergus, passed away peacefully at Wellington Terrace on Thursday August 17, 2017 in her 85th year. Mother to JoAnne (the late Tom 2013) Kostal of Guelph, Beth (Russell) Morris of Kenilworth, Jim Noonan of Arthur, Cathy (Bill) Fox of Salem, Phil (Annette) Noonan of Beamsville and Paul (Karla) Noonan of Fergus. Grandmother to 13 and Great-Grandmother to 13. Married to James Noonan for over 26 years before his passing in 1979. Survived by brother Russell (Shirley) Dickson of Markdale, sister Jean Mallen of Kelowna B.C. and brother-in-law Gord Engler of Medicine Hat Alberta. Predeceased by parents Elmer and Margaret Dickson, brother Bill (Helen) Dickson, sister Ruby Engler, brother-in-law John Mallen and great grandson Mario Carere-Morris.
As per Joy’s request cremation and a private family service will be held, at a later date.
Memorial donations in Joy’s memory may be made to the Fergus Groves Memorial Hospital fund.
Many THANKS to the staff, volunteers and Dr. Stickney, for the wonderful care that helped Mom, enjoy her days at Wellington Terrace.
