Guiseppina (Josie) Renda in her 82nd year passed away peacefully in the presence and comfort of family at Wellington Terrace on Saturday, March 12, 2016. Beloved wife of Vincenzo Renda (1994) whom she will reunite with in Heaven. Loving mother of Paul and his wife Cathy, Frank and his wife Ellen, Jim and his wife Margaret, Carmela and her husband Rocco Ieropoli, Teresa and her husband Michael Sims, and Antonetta and her husband Paul Gascho. Dear Nonna of sixteen grandchildren: Luke, Lindsay, Megan, Tony, Emma, Jesse, Hawley, Cole, Gabriella, Stephanie, Andrea, Julia, Sarah, Emily, Kassandra and Jacob. Predeceased by her sister Rose (Tony) Polifroni. Brother of Joe and his wife Rose Bornino. Resting at Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus. The family will receive their friends on Tuesday March 15th from 2:00-4:00pm as well as 7:00-9:00pm. A Vigil for Guiseppina will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00pm. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 11:00am, at St. Joseph’s Parish 760 St. David St. North, Fergus, and burial will take place at Marymount Cemetery in Guelph. The family of Guiseppina would like to thank Dr. Amanda Wagler, Dr. John Stickney and the staff and residents of Wellington Terrace, Apple Valley for the friendship, care and love that they gave our mother and nonna. We cannot thank you enough.
