Passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital on Monday March 16th in his 78th year. He will be missed by his wife Agnes Mae Woods(nee Barber), their children David Alexander(June) of Fergus, Janice Louise Best(Graham) of Guelph, Candace Dawn Woods(John Craven) of Pickering and Dorothy Ann Culp(Jamie) of Kitchener. Also mourning their loss are his grandchildren Meghan Best, Colin Best, Alexander Woods, Rachel Woods, James Culp, Brooklyn Culp, Isabelle Culp, Ryan Craven, Andrew Craven and Charlotte Craven his siblings George Woods(Muriel) of Fergus, Mary Wilson(Jack) of Fergus, brother-in-law Vance Barber and sister-in-law Simona of Fergus, his uncle Stan Woods (Margaret) he will be also missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by his parents Bruce and Alice Woods(nee: Hogarth) and by his brother John Woods. Visitation will be held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus on Thursday March 19th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at The St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Fergus on Friday March 20th at 2pm followed by a reception to be held in the church basement.
