Passed away on October 5, 2021 at Freeport Health of Grand River Hospital at the age of 40 years. Jonathan was the devoted and loving husband of Lindsay Herrgott ( nee ) Hogg of Waterloo. Loving father of Kylee, Karlee, Carson and Cailyn. Dear son of Gerard and Karen Ann Herrgott of St. Clements, Ontario. Dear brother of Jeremy Herrgott ( Tabatha) of Elmira and their children Colby , Emma and Hailey Voisin. Dear son in law of Brenda Hogg and the late Robert Hogg. Fondly remembered by his sister in laws and brother in law Kerry Hogg (Dan) and her son Joshua, Alyson Caro ( Carlos ) and their daughter Natalia, and Matthew Hogg ( Sarah) and their children Brielle & Beckham. Jonathan will also be remembered by many family, friends and his baseball family.
Relatives & Friends are invited to call at the Graham Giddy Funeral Home 617 King Street N, Waterloo ( 519-888-7700) on Friday October 8, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP through the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday October 9, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Clements R.C. Parish 3619 Lobsinger Line, St. Clements ON. Father Irenaeus Koziak S.A.C. officiating. Interment to follow at St. Clements R.C. Cemetery.
Donation in memory of Jonathan can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
