John devoted his life to working at the beef barns for the University of Guelph for 24 years. He was always surrounded by animals from a silly old barn cat to a beautiful heifer. He was kind, caring and compassionate to those he met along the journey.

Although being busy with work and his hobby farm, John was never too busy to spend time with his family. He was a family man who has left many with stories to tell for years to come.

His journey may have ended early but he has touched the lives of many people, that his stories will be shared and his love for life won’t be forgotten.
