Left us on December 5, 2011 at his home near Grand Valley shortly before his 47th birthday after facing cancer with courage and dignity, John is survived by his long time partner, Karen Hunsberger, his father Wally Panagapka and his wife Janet of Markdale, his mother Jeanette Panagapka of Gibsons BC, his two sons Seth Mark, Zane Blair and their mother Tracey, two brothers Paul and his wife Denise of Elmira and Mark of Baden. John will be missed by his extended family and many friends.In his last days John was cared for at home by Karen and friends, Dr. Laura Pacione, Marie-Charlotte Dextraze, Elise Hunsberger and Rob Rathier as well as friends who came to visit and help out in many ways.John will be buried Tuesday December 6, 2011. Friends and family will be received at Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, ON, from 1 to 2:30 with burial following. A reception will be held at John and Karen’s house after the burial – 8740 sideroad 25, West Garafraxa Township.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice or for several trees that will be planted in John’s memory.
