John peacefully passed away on December 4,2010 after courageously coping with Alzheimer's disease since 2006. Born May 27th,1939, John grew up in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. He is survived by his wife Sharon, his two daughters Nancy and Kathleen, and Nancy's husband Francis Moul and two grandchildren, Adele and Rose Moul. John is also survived by his two sisters, Sylvia White of Monk Bretton, Barnsley, South Yorkshire and Regina and husband Lionel Buckland, Port William Scotland. John's career with Bruce Power and Montreal Engineering provided his family with a wonderful life and now with marvellous memories. Numerous trips to England and to his beloved Yorkshire awakened and nourished a yearning in his family to keep this treasured connection alive. A celebration in memory of John will take place on Saturday December 18th,2010 from 1-4pm at The Royal Canadian Legion, 110 Metcalfe Street, Elora, Ontario. Friends are invited to to our happy reminiscing about John.
