Passed away suddenly on October 28, 2009 in his 64th year. Much loved husband and best friend of Josephine (Jo) nee Cushing, for 47 years. Beloved father of Jeff (Vanessa), Dan (Sue) and Karen Hickerson (Scott). Proud grandfather of Emma, Jack, Sara, T.J. and Benjamin. Missed by his brother Tom (Pearl) and sister Diane Smith (Wes). Predeceased by his brother Merv. A Celebration of John’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion – 500 Blair St. in Fergus, on Sunday November 1st, 2009 from 2 to 4pm. Memorial Donations can be directed to the Diabetes Association or Groves Memorial Community Hospital.
