Passed away on November 13, 2004 at the Wellington Terrace, Elora. Beloved husband of Dora (nee Cameron). Dear father of John Douglas James Gowland and his wife Sharon of Kitchener and Leola and her husband Leon Baskerville of Elora. Loved grandfather of Sean, Jennifer (Trevor Smallwood), Stuart and Ian Baskerville. Great grandfather of Emma and Cameron Smallwood. Wib will be sadly missed by his sister Viola Murray of Weston and sister in law Margaret Cameron of NewMarket. Predeceased by his parents John and Ethel, his brother-in-laws Dr. Leo Murray, Denton Cameron and Donald Cameron and his grandson, Matthew Baskerville. Wib spent 4 years serving overseas during World War II with the R.C.A.F. He then worked for Moore's Business Forms in Weston for 37 years. He was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Fergus. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
